Fundy Royal Agricultural Advisory Group Round Table

May 8, 2010 - Sussex, New Brunswick, May 8, 2010 - An important roundtable discussion on agriculture was held today with the Fundy Royal Agricultural Advisory Group. Minister Moore hosted the roundtable with the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board.

Eleven members of the agriculture sector participated, including farmers and producers of dairy, grain, meat, eggs and horticulture products. The roundtable, which occurred in Sussex, was held to discuss ways that the federal government can continue its support for farmers in the region and across New Brunswick.
